                • Ardex Australia Corporate Video by Audience Productions

4 weeks out from the Beaumont Tile conference we were tasked with creating a Company Profile corporate video for Ardex Australia from scratch. This meant writing a script, shot list, shooting schedule, a 2 day shoot, online edit, voiceover recording, sound mix, animations, colour grade and even a drone fly over shot to showcase Ardex Australia's corporate offices in Sydney. Shot over 3 days, July 2, 3 and 4 at the Ardex Sydney offices and warehouse facilities we shot on the Canon C100 and Canon 5D Mk2. We used a motorised Kessler Cineslider and some nice Canon lenses. The drone footage was taken using a Phantom DJI2. We had a small crew, 4 in total, 2 camera, 1 sound operator and a producer/director. The final video was delivered on July 13th - 9 days after the last shot was filmed. The video was so well received by Ardex and their audience, the video was sent to their US office to show them what we were able to achieve in that time. Thanks to all involved and to Ardex for believing we could get the job done successfully.

Great Plains: A Visual Journey in Words and Music - Images featured in these videos are from Andrew Hogarth’s extensive photographic collection unless otherwise stated. © Andrew Hogarth Publishing 2015. https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/great-plains/id370089655 http://andrewhogarth.net/ The concept of love has a multiplicity of meanings and endless shades of interpretation. The love between two people can be a powerful and motivating force. It can be consensual or dependent. Love can be possessive or give freedom. It can stand alone or extend to encompass family. It is a respect for the concept of love that has sustained a culture. It is the celebration of an individual or the joy of the tribe. Love is the bond that is sustaining through the dark times as well as the bountiful. It is love that gives one a sense of immortality. Angels’ Play is my celebration of one of the many faces of love. Andrew Hogarth. Great Plains is the culmination of a collaboration between artist storyteller Andrew Hogarth and Sydney musician Chris Fisher. The album comprises eleven songs with concepts derived from Hogarth’s love of Native American and Plains War history, his extensive travels throughout the USA and the honouring of oral traditions through to Fisher’s observations of love, life and universal struggle. Great Plains is dedicated to the memory of Southern Cheyenne Bowstring Warrior Society War Chief Medicine Water (1835-1926). The inspired and tenacious resistance of the Cheyenne and Lakota Nations to stop the tide of America’s Manifest Destiny in the period of 1854-1890 underpins many of the songs however it is the triumph of the human spirit that unifies the album. The album was written and recorded over an eighteen month period under the guidance of producer and recording engineer Adam Barns at Smokin & Jokin Recording Studios in Artarmon and mastered by Meredith Brooks at Soundwarp Studios, Brookvale, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. With special thanks to Brian O’Heir, Olivia Bratsanos, Kim Vaughan, Craig Stokoe and David Clarke for their ongoing project support. Andrew Hogarth is a native of Scotland, long time resident of Australia and a world traveller. His interest in Native American culture was ignited early in his youth and has led him to travel some 200,000 miles throughout the Great Plains and Southwest of the United States of America over a thirty-two year period. Hogarth has visited with and photographed many people and places from the ordinary to the extraordinary and learnt much from the life and history of the people as well as the beauty and often harsh reality of the landscape. Hogarth’s extensive fieldwork has resulted in three photographic collections and the publication of six books. His photographic collection Powwow: Native American Celebration was one of only fourteen to be chosen from a worldwide call for submissions by Exhibits USA resulting in a three year national tour of the USA. Powwow debuted at the Dr. Martin Luther King National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee in October 2000 with subsequent exhibitions in prominent museums and art galleries across thirteen US states. Hogarth’s work has featured in numerous publications with front cover photographs on Indian Country Today and Australian Journey. In Australia a retrospective of Hogarth’s photographic film collection Great Plains: The American West 1981-2006 featured in the 2008 Healing Arts Program at St. Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. In April 2013 he was invited to speak about his life and work at the inaugural Newcastle Writers Festival, New South Wales’ second largest city. Of late Hogarth’s photographic work has seen him move into the digital world with his most recent collection Native America: Dinetah to the Greasy Grass 2008-2013 exhibited in 2014. Hogarth’s photographs, music and writings offer a brief glimpse into the rich and complex world of Native America and celebration of a diverse culture of ancient heritage that despite almost overwhelming odds continues to quietly thrive in the 21st Century.
