We took a roadtrip around the North Island of New Zealand in a Wilderness Motorhome / Campervan / RV. The short film highlights a 24 hour period along the 38th parallel from Raglan to Lake Tarawera. We were filming a running project during the same week and the flexibility and accessibility the camper allowed us to have was incredible. We were able to pull enough footage of the trip to create a descent cut. Filmed on a GH4 and GoPro, edited in Premiere & AE, graded w/ Magic Bullet and FilmConvert. Fun times, can't wait to get back! http://wilderness.co.nz/ Shot, Directed, and Edited by Matt Hardy Like TM Media on facebook and instagram for more: http://www.facebook.com/tahoemattadventuremedia http://www.instagram.com/tahoematt http://www.tahoematt.com

Snowcast: We are only half way through January but this could be the driest four-month start to the Sierra snow season in recorded history. While there's a glimmer of hope for some precipitation late next week, it's only a glimmer. If that hope fades, we could be looking at another two weeks of dry weather, taking us through the end of the month.

Sugar Bowl's official report: 0" overnight, 5" in last week Field report: New snow on Saturday/Sunday is making for a softer surface. Weather: Sunny with temperatures warming in to the 40’s Liftline status: No one at the mountain = no lines Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Matt Hardy (@tahoematthardy) for a run down Sugar Bowl this morning. 4 lifts spinning, 28 trails open (17 groomed). Snowcast: Ridge of high pressure along the West Coast will keep things dry this week. No storms in sight for CA in the long-range. It looks like we will end the month on track with the 2 driest snowfall seasons of the past 37 years. We need to pray for a big change to this pattern in February and March to change that.
