                  On 30th November, 2011, thousands of public sector workers striked as part of a National day of action against proposed Government pension cuts. Some 300 local schools were closed in the Brighton area, and thousands took part in the protests Unions represented in the march included Unison, Unite, GWB and other teacher's unions. 100 NHS workers were also present. Reported by Kayleigh Lewis. Students, Staff and parents were allowed to submit their recommendations for teachers and the results were all very close. I hope that this video shows the level of commitment that many of our teachers have in performing the sometimes "thankless" job of educating our youth.
