This video contains all three projects that I had done for this class, Technical Direction. The first project consists of replicating a grey ball as well as adding in another object. I took my own pictures and HDRI's. For the second project, we have to replicate a shader that was in between matte and chrome. In my case, I choose a red glass like stone. As for the last project, we were given an animation to texture, light and composite together and make it look like it fit in the scene. Each project was done in Maya and consists of ten plus render layers. They were composited together in Nuke.

Just found this demo of the first set of tools I developed in 2013 to customize Softimage for personal use. Was tired of using ZBrush ;) It's mainly JS/Python scripting coupled with some ICE coupounds automatically applied. Softimage : what a great flexible software !!

arViewportRender gives lighting artist the ability to make use of mayas standard render view in a more artistic and practical way. It has been used in two feature film productions and the feedback so far was really great. Unfortunately it is only for Maya using Solidangles Arnold renderer. It is fully Qt based and NOT a standalone frame buffer. Its a redesinged "render view" The basic concept is from therenderblog.com Download here: https://bitbucket.org/arutils/arutils/wiki/Home
