Currently, John is also a managing director with Flavin Ventures LLC, and was previously director of Chicago Innovation Mentors, a technology commercialization program linking start-ups with larger corporations and academia/researchers. He led two successful IPOs and raised more than $200 million in private and public funding as a C-level executive for Advanced Life Sciences and Medi-Chem Life Sciences. John has two degrees in finance with his BS from Marquette University and his MBA from Lewis University.
