Once upon a time, early 2011 to be exact, a group of sophomores began a news broadcast that would one day become rooted in Nighthawk tradition. Once called the "Del Norte Morning Show", this endeavor grew to its more familiar alias, Del Norte Network. Seventeen episodes , three newspaper issues, and countless features and events later, DNN established itself as an outlet in which students could advertise their passions, accomplishments, and aspirations. We hope over these past few years that we've entertained and informed you. We hope the debates we sparked on matters ranging from school events to international crises taught you something new. We hope we recognized your accomplishments and brought light to your efforts to become college ready, future focused, and globally aware. But most importantly, we hope through our countless hours writing, editing, planning, and executing our shows and papers, we've helped Del Norte grow just a little bit closer. As this year comes to a close, we reminisce on the first ever projects taken on by those hopeful sophomores so many years ago and we hope that 10, 20, and 50 years from now the traditions we established stand strong. Thank you for all the support you've given us and for your viewership these past few years. We hope you'll enjoy our last few episodes and have a great third trimester.
