By the first week of December Grand Targhee had already received more than a 100" of snowfall. So much for early season conditions. We were lucky enough to get in a couple of days at The Ghee December 6th and 7th with some fun conditions. We even got in a some fun pow runs with Grand Targhee Snowcat Adventures. Fun terrain, great friends and some awesome guides made for a memorable weekend of skiing The Ghee. Music Credit-Stephen Arnold Project-The Vault

Standing near the Gros Ventre river, looking East, lies the Sleeping Indian. Many visitors to this area just never see this scene. I have mentioned the Indian to folks there looking for Moose, and they are surprised when they look. This video is 30 seconds, so lets call it a "Jiffy". Got a Jiffy? Mike

This Owl has hunted this area for several years. This video is a collection of it's flights and prey over a few days. The location was in Grand Teton National Park, the bird was about 75 yards, or more, away. There were young chicks to be fed, so when the Owl flies away with prey, it is to feed them. Shot with Sony FS100, Sigma 50-500. About 2 minutes 15 seconds. Enjoy, Mike

Thank you! A film to kick it all off, about a company that believed in me. Mid June 2014 I set off to meet up with my friends Chad and Erin Kendrick of Treeline Outdoors to have an adventure of a lifetime. The Goal: Journey around for 3 weeks and live on top my Jeep! Little did I know that it was going to set up the rest of my year and hopefully future in the outdoor adventure space. This campaign took me across Alberta and 5 US states while racking up almost 10,000 miles. I lived out of my Treeline Outdoor rooftop tent and filmed, photographed, and shared the journey. This film is a memento of the trip and a brand film for what Treeline Outdoors is all about. I couldn't have done it without the support from my sponsors at Goal Zero, Gerber Gear Outdoors, Vancouver Camera, and of course Treeline Outdoors. Thanks to friends and family for putting up with my continued absence as I chase my dreams. Enjoy! This video is not a time lapse, just a regular clip speed-ed up 350%. So a 21 mile drive is seen in 7 minutes. It is as if the vehicle was going about 140 mph. Starting at Signal Mountain, and ending at Windy Point, the trip was made at dawn. A Sony AS100 action cam was stuck to the windshield, set to run, and away we went. This is the longest video I have posted, but it gives a good view of the mountains.

This is just for fun. A bit of footage of our little gang of shooters at a typical animal sighting. You will also see the full range of folks using cell phones up to lenses as big as dinner plates. Gerry and Diana Ward, Dave and Leanne Thompson, Joan and Mike Condon (me, taking the video) are the stars, with cameo's from locals and tourists. We do enjoy our treks to see the wonderful wildlife. From the overlook on Moose Wilson road in GTNP. Otters are seldom seen here, and were back in the weeds, but I wanted to share this glimpse with all. I am still looking for Otters to shoot. The sleek little critters look for and find snacks of smaller critters in the pond. (It is good to be one of the big critters) A quick minute. Mike

This is the other "Moulton Barn", and it is half a mile north of the more iconic barn of T. Moulton. This site includes other historic structures, and this barn is in better condition with surrounding fences. It is also rare to get to shoot here without a lot of people around, but we were lucky. The entire shoot was with a tiny Sony Action Camera, AS100, hand held throughout the walk about. It is all trimmed and tweaked for your "minute" of quiet historical viewing. Enjoy.... Mike
