1. Daddy-Daughter Adventure 2015 London Belfast Dublin

    from Chris Oliver Added 74 4 0

April 2015 -- My then 11-year-old daughter and I traveled to London, Belfast, and Dublin, on what we hope was the first of many Daddy-Daughter trips. With backpacks strapped, we boarded a total of six flights, one sleeper ferry, a couple dozen train/Tube/taxi rides, and walked countless steps. From The Troubles murals in Belfast to Swan Lake performed by the Royal Ballet, we filled our hours and soaked in as much "life across the pond" as we could. I'm biased, but I think we pretty much nailed the perfect trip. As a follow-up, I put this little retro "home movie" style scrapbook together for my daughter's 12th birthday. Not the greatest quality, as it was shot entirely with an non-modified iPhone 6+ (later edited with the "Crop Your Videos" app and Windows Movie Maker). But it captures a lot of memories and that was my chief intent. Happy birthday, Iz! Soundtrack: Incubus - Wish You Were Here Gregory Alan Isakov - The Universe I own no rights, nor am I making any claims for rights, to either song, through use in this video or otherwise.

My first project while studying at the NCCA in Bournemouth. We were tasked with taking an above water scene and transforming it to look underwater. All elements were done by myself including on-location shooting, special (practical) effects, compositing, computer generated imagery and colour grading. This project took roughly 10 weeks and I had no prior technical knowledge of VFX before this.

Andrea Maack is a visual artist from Reykjavik, Iceland. Her work explores the line between art, fashion and perfumery, using pencil line drawings as the basis of her process to create one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. The video tells the story of Andrea Maack’s fragrances, starting from the concept of the packaging to its creation. The result is a niche parfume collection with modern minimalist glass bottles and tactile caps, cut from Hi-Macs natural acrylic stone, a new generation solid surface. For the box, she has chosen The Tube, the creative Favini paper with a flawless dead-flat matt effect, with a special smoothly tactile surface. The film takes you on a journey around her studio, a place of inspiration, wherein she conceives her sketches and chooses the best materials to realise her projects. Visit www.chocolatefilms.com Transcript: I've always been a people person and the underground was the next step for me; good job security and a chance to advance my career. Very basic, easy, you touch in, you touch out. If it works fine, it's good and you'll pay a cheaper fare. We get a lot of tourists and they don't understand it coming through all the time and when they can understand and see what you're talking about it makes it much easier and nicer for them. You know, you can do it in French and tap on the screen, but they prefer just to talk them through it. Ninety nine percent of our customers yesterday were French. Every time I finish speak to one, it was like "perlex voux francauis" and then the next one came and it just went on and on and on. When you help somebody an they say thank you, that works for me.
