Between September 1973 and November 1974 I lived in a double-decker bus, reg. JRR 404, better known as the Free Photographic Omnibus. It was my home, my travelling darkroom and gallery. Together we travelled 10,000 miles around England making a photographic record during a time of great social change. Every week I ran a free portrait session in a different town centre. The journey was funded by sponsorship — private, commercial and public — and received two Arts Council of Great Britain awards. This is the story of that adventure. This is a reading from the journal of the Free Photographic Omnibus, February 1974. I was in Hulme, Manchester, when a Granada TV crew, led by Mark O'Neill, turned up to make an item for the tea-time magazine programme Granada Reports. Using colour film for the first time during my journey on the bus, I photographed Mrs I Emare and her family at home in Robert Adam Crescent. A little taste of a prototype we're working on. We used Honolulu's TheBus Google Transit real-time data feed to feed a ‪‎Meteor‬ web app, which automatically updates and animates bus positions via ‪D3‬. So, browsers see real-time updates on bus locations, pushed from the server. 7 minutes of ‪‎TheBus‬ activity (5pm, Saturday, July 13, 2013) compressed to about 45 seconds. Buses report location data about every minute, which is why they're a little jumpy. This map tracks about 200 buses on the road. Built using ‪the Meteor‬ and ‪‎D3 JavaScript frameworks‬. All browsers updated automatically when data refreshed on the server from TheBus' Google Transit service. Bus route map also courtesy of D3.

"The Bus" is a grass root community game show with permanent main host and each week's famous celebrity guest that will altogether help entertain local audiences and contestants wherever “The Bus” paid a visit, all over Thailand. Lots of real life animated games plus abundant household appliance prizes will surely lure large number of locals to the playground whenever “The Bus” honks its horn.

The second project in my BFA class, we were told simply that the title of the project was The Chair and that the time limit was thirty seconds. I did it based off of my experiences taking public transportation. All of the characters are based on actual bus regulars I used to see frequently on my commute to school or work.

After more than two years of constant performing on music stages across our pleasant Kingdom of Belgium, 14weeks self produced an EP with eight songs in 2008. The artistic director in charge of that project was Gaëtan Streel (Piano Club, Me & My Machines, Jeronimo). In late 2009, things started really picking up: after a summer full of gigs at music festivals such as Francofolies in Spa, Musik Marathon in Eupen and Fiesta City in Verviers, the band began working on new music and released its second EP in February 2010. In 2011, an encounter with Anorak Supersport, an independent label (and proud of it!) sped up the process even more... Their first video accompanying the song "What Else" was posted as an example on YouTube and generated more than 12,000 views in just a few weeks. Their debut album "Past/Present/Now" has just been released! A mature pop album which contains older tracks previously performed live and five new songs, among which are the potential hits "Start/Stop Telling", and "The Bus", for which they invited Jon Gray, the well-known British producer with an impressive CV (Editors, Radio 4, Futureheads, Ian Broudie,Texas, Infadels, Devendra Banhart, The Coral, The Zutons, Roisin Murphy, The Music, New Order, Underworld...).On this album the catchy synth sounds of Peter Baumgarten surround the instruments of Arnaud Snakkers (guitar), Pierre Mertens (bass) and Didier Gutkin (drums) with the warm and moving voice of Grégory Herzet. This album from 14weeks explodes live on stage thanks to their angular rock, plus sweeping melodic vocals, then all shaken with the electronic waves of the synthesizer. Productie en artistieke leiding waren in handen van Gaëtan Streel (Piano Club, Me & My Machines, Jeronimo). The Coral, The Zutons, Roisin Murphy, The Music, New Order, Underworld...).
