Paul di Resta made an instant impression when he graduated to F1 last year from DTM. Now in his second season with Sahara Force India, Paul continues to shine - and to underline his potential as a future winner. I spoke to him after the Canadian GP about his stunning top-ten qualifying lap and about the ebb and flow of that race. Paul was in New York at the time, preparing for the US FOTA Fans' Forum.

As consistently reported on The Flying Lap, Pastor Maldonado has been showing great promise ever since he made his F1 debut in Melbourne last year; we were also very enthusiastic about the Williams FW34-Renault's grip and downforce levels when we first saw the car at the first Jerez test in early February, 2012. In Barcelona - on a circuit that all the teams and drivers know intimately, the combination stunned the F1 world with a conclusive, brilliant victory. We are delighted on today's show to be able to celebrate live on-line with Pastor - to talk about his electrifying laps in both Q2 and Q3 and about the pressure he withstood in the closing laps of the race, when he was pushed to the limit by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. We'll also be taking a close look at all the latest F1 technicalities with our resident guest, Craig Scarborough; Rob Wilson, who began coaching Pastor 15 months ago, will be giving us his thoughts on the Williams win; and America's Conor Daly will be talking not only about his GP3 win at Barcelona but also his upcoming aero test day with the Sahara Force India F1 team

Nick Yelloly comes from the same part of England as Nigel Mansell - and the similarities don't end there. His tough, no-nonsense approach is already reaping rewards at international level against major competition. He finished second in the final round of the World Series by Renault 3.5 at Barcelona last year (only a couple of months after his debut at Silverstone) and last week he won the opening round of the 2012 WSR at Motorland, Aragon, Spain. He talks to us about that momentous day - and about the next race on his calendar: Monaco Inside Nick's track bag: 2 race suits 2 red Alpinestars gloves 3 sets of Alpinestars nomex understuff 2 pairs of Alpinestars race boots 1 Arai GP6 carbon helmet painted by JLF designs. I always take a big kit bag to put all my race kit in and then one bag to take all my team clothing and normal clothes for the rest of the week. This usually consists of team clothing or sponsor wear for the day time at the race track then something casual and comfortable for the evenings when it's time to chill out! I take a piece of hand luggage which has my Oakley sunglasses and Beats by Dr Dre earphones. Also my MacBook air to use when we have wifi at the hotel etc and of course the all-important iPhone to keep in contact with everyone at home and to update my Facebook and twitter pages! I also have my TAG watch that I got for my 20th birthday from my Dad, my Links of London bracelet from my Mum and my ring from my little sis that I always wear at all times expcet when in the gym or driving the car!

Felipe Nasr is another in a long line of ultra-talented Brazilians destined for F1 stardom. A winner in karts, FBMW and F3, Felipe's graduation to the GP2 Series this year has been predictably seamless: with a podium finish in Malaysia and a stunning from-the-pitlane drive in Bahrain already behind him, the DAMS driver is already a major contender. He spoke to us from his apartment in London just prior to this weekend's Spanish GP.

"King" Carlos Sainz needs no introduction to fans of the World Rally Championship. The Spaniard raised the bar in the 1980s/1990s/2000s whilst still saving time to compete in single-seater racing (Formula Ford 2000 in the UK) and to test an F1 Renault. Now it's time for his son, Carlos Jnr, to take Centre Stage (as it were). Multi-lingual and multi-talented, the 17-year-old is already winning F3 races at international level; and, with Red Bull behind him, seems set to emulate the feats of one of his heroes - Sebastian Vettel.

As Formula 1 runs its first in-season test in the Pirelli era, we are delighted to be joined live on-line by Paul Hembery, Director of Motorsport for Pirelli. No stranger to The Flying Lap - or to New Media - Paul is respected up and down the pit lane not only for his knowledge and managerial skill but also for his obvious passion for the sport. We'll be talking to Paul about the season so far and about one of the key characteristics of the first four races - the relatively small "operating window" of the Pirelli compound combinations; and we'll be looking at all the latest trends from the Mugello test, where most of the F1 teams and top drivers are running. We also spoke to Sahara Force India's Nico Hulkenberg shortly before he left home for Day Three in Mugello. Nico reflects on his first four races with the team, the current standing of the VJM05-Mercedes and his prospects in the upcoming Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix. Our third guest, also joining us on-line, is Davide Valsecchi, the talented young Italian driver who has just made history by winning three GP2 races in a row.
