1. HAPPY life

    from mojebory Added 35.8K 931 276

A short film about life... about human being. Location: Europe ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I am very excited If I have chance to capture 'ordinary' people in their natural environment They just inspire me and moves... I see a harmony in ordinary activities - joy and sadness at the same time. Everything around us is magical. When I take pictures or shots I look at the world through the eyes of a child ... everything seems so interesting and unusual ! I'm 'hungry', I want to grab everything ! In this way I've gathered shots and took some pictures over 5 years. Now I have quite huge library of footage of people, places, nature, animals etc. The film is directed only at the stage of editing ! No man in this movie wasn't forced to do anything. There is no acting, no dubels, no studio lights, only one camera (5D MKII), no sponsors :D, unrestricted creativity, completely without crew - just one person - me ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful Music: Max Richter & Dinah Washington - This Bitter Earth http://www.maxrichtermusic.com/en/index.php voice over: Dalai Lama Sound FX: mojebory Directed: mojebory Edited: mojebory Shot: mojebory Color grading: mojebory facebook.com/borytucholskie ten sam Film z polskimi napisami [captions] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqOge4J9Aj0 Used Canon 5D MK II, couple of lenses and some other stuff

          from Dave A Added 19.4K 264 64

Many people don't understand why some choose to travel on a bicycle. I was one of them... then I tried it. Now I don't want to do it any other way. This video is an attempt at providing a glimpse into the challenging, exciting, and incredibly rewarding world of cycle touring. The clips are from a Summer 2007 trip, about 4500kms from Kashgar, Xinjiang, to Dali, Yunnan (in China) crossing Tibet along the way.

            from JLSpradlin Added 20.2K 384 57

Last Fall, I spent 5 days exploring Tibet. I wanted to attempt to mimic through these images and sounds how beautifully strange of an experience it was. In some ways, it was breath taking. In other ways, I felt tension and anxiety. Many months later and I still don't completely know how I feel about it. But -- there's no other place on the planet that I'd rather go back to than Tibet. (Click here http://goo.gl/nmS5o to READ what I wrote about the Impact of Social Technology on peoples and places like Tibet) Music is by Clint Mansell and is from the movie soundtrack "The Fountain". Camera: Canon Rebel T2i/550d with a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6

              from Yannick Calonge Added 14.6K 254 54

In 1999, Was my frist trip to Nepal. I can say it totally change my life forward! I was born in the Alps and was so attracted by the himalayan mountains. I did the Annapurna circuit at that time with my best friend Oliver. I was looking for the tibetan culture , inspired by some adventurous person like Alexandra David Neels and Olivier Folmi .When you do the Annapurna circuit there is a small village called Kagbeni at a 3400meters of elevation. This is the entrance to an hidden valley called Mustang. This aera is a restricted aera . that means you are not allowed to get there without a special permit and a guide and a to be a group of a minimum of 2 person. We staied in there a couple of days , it has been probably my best moment ever . Since 1999, i visited Nepal almost 19th time and discovered several places but i always kept inside me to coming back to Kagbeni. So i finally find the right time to get there in May 2013. It was also a good chance to be trekking with my fellow friend and guide Deny. He was also excited to visit this new area. Here is the movie about this 10 days trekking we did in Upper Mustang. I was first suprised to see how the Annapurna circuit changed . Now it is possible to reach Kagbeni by bus or Jeep , making Kagbeni in a close future not as attractive as it was in the past . This trekking was amazing. First the landscape were outstanding , geology really similar to the Grand Canyon, it was really dry and colorful rocks.i also visited some of the most interesting monasteries i've seen in Himalayas . And get chance to assist at the creation of a sand Mandala. The highlight of this trek was the meeting of Yangchen , she is young local girl and invite Deny and me to stay with her and her family. It was a great experience and i will never forget it. If you need more information about this trekking , don't hesitate to contact me . Hope you will enjoy it. Music : Soundtrack from Samasara (L.Gerrard/M.Stern/M. Francisci) C2C : The Cell Shot with a 5DII. Edited with FCPX

                from Fallout Media Added 79.8K 439 50

*Featured on the official GoPro channel on 18th November, 2014* A video dedicated to the devoutness of the Tibetan people. As an autonomous region of China, Tibet is a predominantly Buddhist culture. Many of the people I've observed - both young and old - are deeply religious. I wanted to showcase the various kinds of devotion they show towards Buddhism. In my opinion, their religious culture poses a stark contrast to the officially atheist country of China. Whether it's prostration, praying, spinning prayer wheels, volunteering at monasteries or walking a kora, the Buddhist faith can be seen propagating everywhere. As some claim China is slowly culturally assimilating Tibet and edging out local natives to make way for more Han Chinese migration, religion seems to be their one way of making a difference. And it's true: Chinese language dominates especially in Lhasa, and there is a constant heavy security presence since the riots of 2008. When I first stepped into Lhasa it really felt like any other Chinese city - and I was quite dismayed. Only venturing out farther along our route to Everest Base Camp (or, 'Qomolangma' as it's called in Tibet) did I see the Tibet I wanted to see. Shot during a 2-week excursion throughout Tibet in July 2014. Technical notes: Armed with my new Feiyu G3 Ultra 3-axis gimbal, I wanted to discipline myself and try to use the GoPro to shoot a narrative or more artistic video. I'm shooting mostly on 1080/50 Protune so I couldn't preview what I was seeing. There were also some 720/100 scenes which were up-rezzed with InstantHD. The setup can be at times conspicuous as it's like I'm holding a medical scanner! It got quite odd looks at times. Gear: Shot entirely on GoPro HERO 3+ Feiyu G3 Ultra gimbal Spinpod Music: 'Time' by Hans Zimmer

Ten months, ten countries, and ten thousand kilometres of Silk Road cycling....in roughly ten minutes! Hard to believe, but the Cycling Silk expedition ended a year ago today, when Mel and I flew home to Canada to begin other adventures. To commemorate the end of that road, we recently put together this purely-for-kicks highlights reel. It's a partial and hodgepodge portrayal of the trip, to be sure, and it doesn’t even touch on the wild borderlands dimension of what we were up to–that will come later! For now, we just wanted to share the wild joy of riding the Silk Road with you, as thanks for cheering us on along the way. Wishing you all happy trails… For more details on this expedition, check out www.facebook.com/cyclingsilk or www.cyclingsilk.com.
