The interpretation and exploration of Time and Space Compression. The act of compression itself is a process and usually we tends to forego the transition of this act. In this modern society, we tend to focus on speed, the speed of getting everything. With technology it fasten the speed of the process, we can now buy things within a split of a seconds. A dinner that can take four hours to make but with social media, a single moment could now be represented within seconds.

For this project, I was told to portray the 'time compression' visual sequence - shown in this case by a drug-taker going through multiple episodes of drug-taking, before falling into a canal and dying. This video was originally intended to be an anti-drugs campaign video - and I have produced my own personal edit which focuses on this - but, for this project, I was constrained to both 40 seconds and no music!
