Fabien, so impressed by the band, has agreed to musically direct the boys and to perform with them. This is a huge signal that this band are that good. The Promo Video – shot in London by Manuel de Teffè for SHINEOUT has already been described as the freshest video seen on TV for years and continues to awe and inspire people who see it. Such has been the impact on first showing that telephone calls to RAI in Italy instigated a live performance in March to over 5 million viewers. The performance coincided with the death of John Paul II and the boys knowing how much he loved young people decided it would be fitting to dedicate this song to his memory. Seen by many global stations, CNN asked for RAINDOWN to appear on Tuesday 5th April at 9.30 am (prime time in Europe) RAINDOWN received unique coverage for an independent act when they were both interviewed and then performed the song to over 150 million homes in 220 countries worldwide for 7 minutes without interruption. Things have just got very busy for RAINDOWN. Never has a brand new band been deemed worthy of such massive exposure! This CNN piece has since been syndicated around the world and radio and TV stations are picking it up daily. In Italy, the promotion has already included Zenit Rome Reports and many radio stations and Cancào Nova TV in Brazil are ready to do a major push on the band. In the UK, The Angela Rippon show on ITN news 24 was the latest TV to play the video and interview RAINDOWN.
