We get excited when we create memorable videos for great friends. We had no hesitations when Jeanette and Jermyn approached us and was asked to capture video for their special day. Their entire wedding day was kept simple but the outcome was just beautiful. From the smallest detail at the reception to the wonderful excitement during the dance, everything was perfect. We congratulate them on a wonderful new journey! • Soundstreams presents 'The 3 Faces of Jerusalem' (Part 1)

              from Soundstreams / Added

"The Three Faces of Jerusalem poses questions. The first two: Why this program? Why now? i can’t remember during my lifetime when the Middle East wasn’t on fire, at least metaphorically. Fire can be positive – providing light in the darkness and warmth in the cold, both spiritual and physical – but it can also be incredibly destructive, consuming all in its path. Jerusalem is the symbol of that paradox, the centre of gravity for the great traditions and heritages of islam, Judaism and Christianity. One point of view is that its long and ancient history is one nearly continuous fight for domination. This is an unsettling conclusion, implying that as long as there are Muslims, Jews and Christians, a perpetual state of war will be the norm. it flies in the face of the fact that these heritages, culturally and musically, are joined at the hip, and that there have been times when they co-existed peacefully. So the third question is: is there an alternative to endless violence and strife? This program features artists whose heritages encompass Morocco, israel, Palestine, Syria, iran, France, Canada and the United States. While it is significant that these artists bring inspiration from many cultures, each has a history of crossing cultural and geographic boundaries to make music. it is not possible to sing or play music from another culture unless you understand it. i hope The Three Faces of Jerusalem will leave you asking questions. Events of the last two years in the Middle-East make projects like this more relevant and urgent than ever. We don’t create art to change the world. But can it make a difference?" The 2 young Mexican entrepreneurs Axel Arvizu and Juan Roman are finalists for the YBI Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 Award - www.youthbusiness.org In this video Axel and Juan present LA TORTILLERIA - www.latortilleria.ca, a new chain of stores and restaurants in Toronto (Canada) where they serve fresh Mexican tortillas and sell over 500 imported Mexican food items. Axel and Juan started their business in 2008 with a tiny street corner shop and were the first to offer fresh tortillas in Toronto and Canada. They discovered a booming niche market and within 3 years they managed to set up 4 stores with a kitchen, a restaurant and a retail section in each of them. They also started to produce their own line of Mexican food items and they set up a distribution warehouse to sell their goods all over Canada. So far they created already over 40 full time jobs and they continue hiring more people. For the future they aim to expand into all Canadian provinces, establish their own brand of products and set up a franchise operation on an international scale.
