This is a project I did in one week during the summer of 2010. The song is Keith Urban's "Faster Car", and I transcribed and learned all the parts, re-recorded all the instruments, filmed myself doing it, and edited and mixed the audio. I also edited the video. This is purely a one man production. I use Logic Pro for the audio through a Presonus Firepod, and edited the video with Final Cut Pro. Enjoy :)

Luk. 8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nothing is covered up that will not be known and come out into the open. Luk. 8:18 Pay attention, then, to how you hear! For anyone who has something will be given more; but from anyone who has nothing, even what he seems to have will be taken away.” Luk. 8:19 Then Yeshua’s mother and brothers came to see him, but they couldn’t get near him because of the crowd. Luk. 8:20 It was reported to him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and want to see you.” Luk. 8:21 But he gave them this answer: “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s message and act on it!” Luk. 8:22 One day Yeshua got into a boat with His talmidim and said to the, Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” Luk. 8:23 So they set out; and as they were sailing, he fell asleep. A windstorm came down on the lake, so that the boat began to fill up with water, outing them in great danger. Luk. 8:24 They went and woke him, saying, “Rabbi! Rabbi! We’re about to die!” He woke up, rebuked the wind and the rough water; and they calmed down, so that it was still. Luk. 8:25 Then he said to the talmidim, “where is your trust?” Awestruck, they marveled, asking one another, “Who can this be? That he commands even the wind and the water, and they obey him? Adonai has always been straightforward with us since the beginning. For example in GanEden (Garden of Eden) “don’t eat from the tree and live forever”, or in the exodus “follow Adonai and get to the promise land”. I have firmly believed this since I became a believer in our Messiah Yeshua. Adonai knows me better than I know myself, He made me. He knows that I’m not the smartest person in the world, so why would He torture me by giving me a book to live by that I can’t understand? The truth is that the bible isn’t beyond any of our understanding. However, it is a book that we need to read from beginning to end (Genesis to Revelation) to understand, and let it explain itself. The way we listen and the way we process information from scripture is vitally important. When we read the words of Messiah and He says do this, and we read and don’t do there is a problem. Here we have a classic example from our Lord and teacher. First He tells us to listen well, followed by who are in His family, and finalized by a test. Are we so caught up in the storms in our lives that we are worried about everything around, instead of putting our faith in the One that is in the boat with us? In the midst of the storm do you have shalom beyond all understanding?
