And the wind blows Mary is a video about the eco-mafias.
In a postmodern Calvary three wind turbines represent the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the two thieves. The wind noise coming from the movement of the blades it seems to play a Hail Mary as a laical requiem for Sicily.

In April 2011 the Cape Cod Commission will again attempt to gain legislative approval for their "Minimum Performance Standards", loose standards under which the Cape Cod Commissioners would begin to regulate wind energy development on Cape Cod, a region mandated to bring forward renewable energy. Opponents to wind on Cape Cod are calling for setbacks of 6,600 feet from all wind installations on Cape Cod, which would in effect be a de facto moratorium on wind. In this episode of "Clear the Air", host Liz Argo interviews Paul Niedzwiecki, the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commission, the Cape's regional land use management commission. Hear what the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commission has to say about the future of wind development on Cape Cod with the Cape Cod Commissioners at the helm.

In 2016, 154 wind turbines, each 145 meters high, will shape the Shetland Islands landscape. Since the British Government proposed to reduce the country’s carbon emissions to half by 2020, many private companies have taken advantage, developing huge scale renewable energy projects. Viking Energy Ltd, a partnership between Scottish and Southern Energy and the Shetland Island Council, is in charge of the Shetland wind farm project. But the majority of Shetlanders are strictly against a wind farm that they consider dangerous for the Shetland ecosystem. Billy Fox, chairman of Sustainable Shetland (sustainableshetland.org), worries about the future of these islands with such a huge project on their horizon.
