During this letterpress workshop Neta of the Buchstabenmuseum in Berlin (http://www.buchstabenmuseum.de) joined us and recorded a little film about letterpress. Accidentally it was me setting "beyond tellerrand" at one of the printing units. This little movie is a time lapse, which explains the work of setting type quite nice. It was my first time printing with a machine like this, but turned out quite well, as I think. You should definitely join us next time in Berlin. If you want to know more about letters and printing and variations of “setting” or working with type, be sure to visit the Buchstabenmuseum in Berlin: BUCHSTABENMUSEUM HO | BERLIN Holzmarktstraße 66 10179 Berlin-Mitte http://www.buchstabenmuseum.de ============================ About beyond tellerrand: Watch this little recap video to get an impression how beyond tellerrand events look like: http://vimeo.com/69823900 http://beyondtellerrand.com/ http://twitter.com/btconf

Studio on Fire is the best letterpress shop in the country, and it’s not even close. My friend Steven likes to say “We’ve always been into weird shit, and now we’re getting into even weirder shit”. That's no joke. I showed up at Studio on Fire’s space for a couple beers and to watch this whole experiment go down. It was no bullshit when they told me they didn’t even know if it’d work. I heard the phrase “Holy shit I think it’s actually working” more than once that day. This serves as a call out to local artists and screen printers to invite them the opportunity to have their shit run over by a massive steamroller, too. Don’t ask me how to get that invite, though. I don’t even know if I’m invited. Week 19 of 50 Videos / 50 Week, follow along at http://50videos50weeks.com/

                      What are Tags?

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
