                In the ninth episode of Innovate @ Illinois, Andy Singer highlights clean tech companies that are on the University of Illinois campus and in the Champaign-Urbana community. First up, Danyelle Michelini from the Technology Entrepreneur Center talks with Jim Langer from SERIONIX. SERIONIX is creating a low-cost, high-performance ion exchange material capable of rapidly removing contaminants from water and air. Next up, Laura Bleill introduces us to the Dioxide Materials team led by Richard Masel. Dioxide Materials is developing Artificial Photosynthesis for the conversion of air, water and sunlight into useful fuels and chemicals. Finally, Michelle Lenzen from the Technology Entrepreneur Center talks with a team member from Effimax solar. Innovate @ Illinois is a show about entrepreneurship and technology commercialization happening at the University of Illinois. We highlight faculty, staff, and students who are taking their research and innovation to the next step.
