              This video is to showcase the first play blast pass of shots 42, 47, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 58, 59 & 62 of Polydoodle Pictures animated short "& Son". The video also has the accompanying animatic and live action references utilized for the play blasted shots. The term "first pass" is used to identify the crude nature of the animation within these videos. Be warned there will be gaps in this animation as there are 3 people animating different shots. The final animation will be here at the end however!

                This is the result of Polydoodle Pictures Year Long Project. The animated short "& Son" tells the tale of Benjamin & Barnabas Badgersworth father and son undertakers. They are both suffering from a loss and are dealing with it in different ways. Barnabas sinks inwards denying his dreams while his Son Benjamin embraces humour by trying to cheer up mourners of funeral processions. The short was created by Chrissie Peters, David Vandepeer and Sammy Butler. The Music "When Your Smiling" was performed by Lisa Butler and Terry Hall.

                  These are the potential final animations for Shots 50, 51, 52, 53 & 54 of Polydoodle Pictures third year project "& Son". For this particular video we have play-blasted 3D animation with the 2D planes in place, this is to show how the 2D characters will animate and move on their static planes within Maya. This will be the very last playblast for Scene 5 before renders... we think.
