    Choreographed by Emily Robertson. 'Like a jar you housed infinite tenderness and the infinite oblivion shattered you like a jar' -- Pablo Neruda, A Song of Despair Teetering on the line between ultimate intimacy and possessive control, a couple struggle to hold onto their individuality within the confines of each other. On the brink of falling into oblivion and dissolving themselves into one entity, they begin to question, how close is too close? This piece has been inspired by The Kiss (1907/8) by artist Gustav Klimt. Music: John Harrington by Goldmund Dancers: Ashley Jordan, Megan Palmer. The title, Between the Shadow and the Soul is an excerpt from Sonnet XVII by Pablo Neruda Dissertation choreography as part of the Dance degree at the University of Chichester.
