Like many men in her village, her husband wasn't keen on her going out without him and wasn't at all keen on her plans to start her business. After attending the weekly Arab Women Speak Out (AWSO) lectures, and hearing stories from women in a similar situation she persuaded her husband to support her plan to open a clothing shop. This short film is one in a series of portraits of village women, designed to be shown to other women as a way of inspiring them to take make positive changes in their lives.
