Created by veterinarians, for veterinarians, Western Veterinary Conference began in 1928 with the goal of providing comprehensive, progressive, and practical continuing education for veterinary professionals. WVC has reached that goal and continues to grow and diversify education opportunities through the world's premier veterinary conference that hosts nearly 15,000 attendees annually. In 2009, WVC opened the Oquendo Center, a world-class, state-of-the-art training facility that provides year-round hands-on education to further expand WVC's commitment and service to the veterinary community.
