Filmed in the town of Maipo, Chile, during the summer of 2008. This project is an order of Vina Maipo as a tribute to the people of this village. We use an HVX-2000 as a main camera and a Canon HV20 with a Letus for some inserts. Again, thanks to everyone who participated in this production. A DAf production.

With the suns continued intensity, the rich, vineyard soil of Napa Valley, California will dry after days of rain. The grapes have been harvested, and vintners are aging their reserves in cellers, but here at Petrolicious, we love vintage automobiles, the wonderful folks that drive them, and the community that always builds around a make. Here in wine country, we caught up with a strong community of Datsun Roadsters that help one another with parts, maintenance, and enjoying a leisurely day in the sun. John Paul has more stories than he has time to tell in a day and more energy than 10 guys half his age. We just tried to keep up with him and keep the microphones running. Comprised of John, his wife Teri, their two children and a small crew, Cameron Winery has created not just some of the most celebrated wines in the region, but also a place that invites us all to grab each day of our lives and live it to the fullest. This is merely a small glimpse into their lives and the life of Cameron Winery through the eyes of the 2012 vintage. Facebook- facebook.com/NobilisBellator I Twitter twitter.com/NobilisBellator I Tumblr www.nobilisbellator.tumblr.com/ This is the village where I was born. I lived all my life in Montreal, Canada and some years in Paris and Madrid. When I came back to the village, as salmons often do, I began discovering this place. I see it not as the people see it for they are busy bodies going about their occupations. I see it from a distance and am discovering things every day about the place where I was born. This place is about vineyards. There are more the 20 wineries here in this not so big village and the most important one, Viñedos de Aldeanueva is an important player in the wine business in La Rioja. On their own, Viñedos de Aldeanueva produce more then 10% of all the Rioja wine in this province. It is an excellent wine but some of the smaller players such as Viña Herminia and Viñedos Real Rubio have nothing to envy about anyone. Their wine has achieved the highest rankings worldwide. I am very grateful to the three bodegas (wineries) that authorized me to shoot scenes on and in their properties. La Viña, in english the vineyard is a wonder to the eye in full bloom, but that's for another film. Most of the time it's resting and preparing for the next production. These images were captured during the slow months of spring, fall and winter. The film is slow-paced, but it's normal the vinyard is sleeping, but be patient and watch untill the end, I love gran finales...hahaha Editado en 4K.... La película es de ritmo lento, pero es normal, el viñedo está durmiendo, pero ser paciente y ver hasta el final, me encantan los gran finales…… hahaha L a V i ñ a Photography, Cinematography, Editing Nobilis Bellator Music Lachrimae Antiquae Pavan Composed by John Dowland (1563- 1626) Performed by Per-Olov Kindgren Many thanks to Viña Herminia Carlos Ruiz Miguel Gutierrez Gay David Martinez Viñedos Real Rubio Javier Rubio Ruiz Viñedos Aldeanueva Abel Torres Alberto Rubio Consejero en Viñedos de Aldeanueva Assisted in many Shootings and Location Scoutings Talleres Alper Juan Jose Alonso David Alonso Cesar De Léon - Oxinox *el que hico el carrito Luis Hector Garcia Del Puente Shot on location in Aldeanueva de Ebro, La Rioja, Spain Equipment used Motion Control from PocketSlider at http://pocketslider.de/ Slider used special length - 2 meter long rail made to measure by Benjamin Sichert the maker of Pocket Slider Cameras Canon EOS 40D Canon EOS 5D MKII Canon Lenses EF 8-15mm f/4L USM FISHEYE EF-S 10.22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM EF 17-40mm f/4L USM EF 85mm f/1.8 EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Software used Adobe Lightroom 5 Adobe After Effects CC Adobe Premiere Pro CC LRTimelapse

Pollinate Agency gave us a call to help them with a spot for a Napa Valley vineyard. We spent five days in the blazing California sun running up and down rows of grapes offsetting heat stroke with amazing wine. We pitched several concepts to the good folks of Newton. They chose a filmic direction that really shows off the estate. However, after completion we developed a directors cut that scratched our motion graphics itch. Although we love all the spots equally, the Director's cut represents why we love working at the Castle. Enjoy! We believe that hope is viral. In September 2009, the band 1000 Generations released this video for their song "Fail Us Not" (from their album "Turn Off the Lesser Lights"). Both the song and video are born from honest stories of God's redeeming work in real people. • The Grade Cellars — A Journey through Wine Country

                      03:03

from Life & Thyme / Added

A film by Benjamin Hunter Produced by Antonio Diaz Sunrise is when the vineyard workers begin to make their way into the field of luscious and ripened grapes. The sun is beginning to creep through the mountains giving a faint glimmer through the fog that had settled in the valley. You can smell and taste the sweetness in the air—it’s harvest time in Napa Valley. Equipped with a curved knife and a large container to catch the falling fruit, the team splits in adjacent rows cutting each cluster of cabernet sauvignon grapes. A tractor with a wagon attached to its rear follows the workers through the narrow rows for the purpose of loading all of the harvested grapes. There is a rhythm to it all with every swift cut and brief nudge of the container lying on the ground as they make their way down the line. I’m standing on the edge of the field with a large backpack loaded with camera gear, lenses, filters, and SD cards. My eyes have bags underneath them from the little sleep I was able to get but the mere excitement of observing a harvest unfold in front of me has me quite awake. That, and the cup of coffee I’m drinking is helping too. I can’t see Ben—Life & Thyme filmmaker and cinematographer—as he ventured deep into the field with a modified tripod that rests over his shoulder to stabilize his camera. With me is Tom Thornton, one of the proprietors of The Grade Cellars and owner of Winfield Vineyard—which we stand on. He has a look of joy and wonder as he stares at the fruit of his labor (literally) being harvested which will then be turned into wine—the valley’s nectar. I too have a sense of wonder as I am eager to learn everything about the process and the nuances about creating quality in a bottle. In the proceeding days, our job would be to capture every step of winemaking—from picking the grape to pouring the finished product in a glass. But more than anything, I was looking forward to meeting the cast of characters that would play a role in all of this and capturing the passion that would transpire before us. —AD
