This video was developed as a "Media Narrative of Personal Calling" for a Lifestyle and Career Development Class at Richmont Graduate University, Spring 2015. The title of the video chronicles both my self-concept and career journey from childhood until late adulthood. It references the key milestones and turning points in the journey that finds me today in the latter stages of a Masters Degree program in Professional Counseling. There has been a dramatic shift in my self-concept and those things that I feel passionate about; from a stereotypical Engineer who was far more interested in inventing gadgets and solving problems than I was in relationships, to the point in my life that I believe that relationships are the most important and precious gift that God has given us, and that every person is prized by God. Even 10 years ago, choosing to be involved in other people's emotional and relationship issues would have been laughable. For the last 4 years, I have spent countless hours and far too much money pursuing the training that will allow me to do just that. In my mind, this change can only be attributable to God's calling and the working of his spirit though my family, friends, other professionals and events that has resulted in a fundamental change in my heart.
