A sheep's skull is attached by means of electrical wire to an old cathode ray television replaying simulated advertisements endlessly on screen. Through a confined 1 minute loop, the seductive frames transform into dreamy softcore erotica focusing on objects of desire. Each advertisement is remixed by crossing two video signals, one from the V/A cable and the other from the SCART connection. The file itself is altered by glitching individual frames as if creating a stop motion animation. The viewer participates in 'consensual hallucination', a reference to William Gibson's Burning Chrome highlighting a theoretical point where media totally surrounds a viewer. The idea extends to the external battle between the analogue signal and the digital file. Thus, as a condensed manipulation of images, they lose their meaning altogether, becoming an expression of the artificial televised experience we inhabit.
