Available In 4k! Inquires email james@fstopseattle.com "Seattle Dream Pt. II" is our tribute to the city of Seattle and the state of Washington. While most people think of rain and coffee when they hear the name Seattle what they don't realize is just how amazingly beautiful our city can be. Our film aims to do just that. With well over 50,000 photos and countless hours of shooting and editing invested into this project we had to narrow the 90+ separate time lapses we took down to just 51 to complete this 5 minute piece. Some of the places we visited while working on this project include places like Kerry Park, Discovery Park, Alki Beach, and even our friends rooftops. HDR Time-lapse @ www.TheVoder.com ©2011 Andrew S. Geraci all rights reserved. Do not use this material without licensing and permission. DC is one of the most difficult places to shoot. No tripods, no fancy equipment, only a single camera. After planning my shots and figuring out what time would be best to shoot, I went out and started this HDR Time-lapse production. During the course of the shoot I was stopped 9 times by NPS (national parks service) and three times by DC Metro police. Apparently there was a target on me... It does look suspicious though when a guy is toting around a giant blue time-lapse slider, 3 tripods and a battery. Because of the numerous roadblocks I wasn't able to use my Dynamic Perception time-lapse slider as much as I had intended, but the shots that I did get were pretty impactful (In my opinion). This is my first project conceptualized completely in HDR. During the course of the shoot I was able to refine my HDR process and eliminate almost 30 hours of processing time by switching some settings around on both my camera and in certain programs. HDR is one of the most fun things to shoot and this production really opened my eyes to what it's capable of. It doesn't need to be all "Harry Potterish" but a simple and subtle blend of imagery will do the trick. This project is only the first in a long line of ideas I have brewing up in my head. I hope you enjoy it! And if you like it, please share it! Thanks so much! A special thanks to all of those that helped get me access or supported my shoot (with ideas, time, and food!) (Melissa Myers, Johnny Bivera, David Kosling) Shot over a 3 day period; ranging from 4AM-12AM. Rendered, edited and produced in 1 day. Music by: Gregg Lehrman - "Spirit of the storm" Shot on: Canon 5D Mark II Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 II Canon 50mm f/1.4 Tamron 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 Complied in: Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Adobe After Effects CS5 Custom HDR Software and a Dynamic Perception Stage Zero For licensing information please contact me at ageraci@thevoder.com

I had the incredible pleasure of working with the dudes over at The Academy to help bring to life a series of 4 different spots for Washington State Lottery . In this multi-part campaign we explored what it meant to be a Winningaire, Millionaire, Thousandaire, Hundredaire & Dollaraire. Between being able to animate the search for your own personal submarine captain, to the convenience of owning your own sudsy carwash, we had a lot of fun doing it. Although, we're still searching for those winning number combos we were promised. Social media is used to connect but concurrently serves as a disconnect from society outside of the virtual world. In Listen and Repeat, a modified megaphone uses text to speech capabilities to recite tweets composed with the tag ‘nobody listens’ from the social media website Twitter. The megaphone has been installed on a mountain in Washington and dictates tweets to an audience of trees. part of a series of work called "Interconnected Strategies to Disconnect" http://rachelknoll.com/

After years of seeing imagery of the lush green trails from the Pacific Northwest have overwhelming influence on the media and culture of mountain biking, we decided it was time to go experience the rich, dark loam of the coastal regions for ourselves. So in the spring, we dusted off our trail bikes, packed up the rig and headed north to see what we could find. A rare glimpse into the way press photographers cover the politicians of the United States Congress and the problems they face. Leading political photographers in Washington talk about the perills of the 24/7 news cycle and the increasingly sparce access. "It's the genesis of the image as much as the ontological image itself that matters."- Dr. Kerric Harvey, Media Anthropologist at GWU.

On May 17, 2013 I was dropped off in Campo, California at the US/Mexico Border. Four and a half months later I was in Manning Park, British Columbia having walked the 2,600 mile Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) across California, Oregon, and Washington to do get there.
