‘Spectators’ is an observational animation that inverts the expected focus of a football match, turning attention to those on the periphery. The film investigates social interaction and human behaviour, revealing the diversity of character found among football spectators, which can often become obscured by the mass. As a company that time and time again gets totally excited about shiny new ideas and only rarely see them through to completion, we're right in tune with Hobbies, the fifth film in Steve Delahoyde's "Regrets" series, featuring David Pasquesi. http://www.coudal.com

The Eyestalkers are a colony of watchful eyes. They stare unblinking from their window out into the world, tracking all passersby walking to and from the city centre. The staring eyeballs on stalks are there as a visible manifestation of all the invisible surveillance people are walking into when they go into the city, like the many hidden cameras or systems tracking your phone. The Eyestalkers aim to create a tangible sense of being watched, to bring the surveillance out into the open, to create that necessary and warranted sense of paranoia that is lacking because of the elusive nature of modern surveillance. Because of their erratic, jerky movements they are real eyecatchers, so they are seen by all while seeing all. Music: Amon Tobin Track: Wires & Snakes Taken from "Bricolage" All credit go to the producer, Amon Tobin and his record label Ninja Tune.

This shoot was very impromptu. I texted Zephyr late the night before asking if she wanted to shoot and experiment with me. I have a ring light (expensive one at that) that I never use and I have gotten tired of it just sitting there. So, I created an idea to try to do something that I have seen Max Twain (https://vimeo.com/user11541678) do very often in his video work. It's not perfect by any means, but I think it good. Zephyr (https://www.facebook.com/zephyr.nouveau.9?fref=ts) and I decided rehash the Flash shoot we first did. Why? Because I love the Flash. #supermanaintshit
