1. Hiding Place

This is a subtle regrade but also looks different as I have spent a lot of time fine tuning the shots within Premiere CC and Warp Stabilze (but used in the tiniest amount mostly using position which keeps some of the wobble and shakiness and loses that shifting warping perspective) I did lots of experimentation to make it still look like handheld and this is the 2nd version I have uploaded as the 1st one looked too "warpy!" It's also uploaded in ProRes Proxy, which actually was around same size file as my high bitrate H264. The H264 couldn't handle the fine detail but the prores proxy did and Vimeo's conversion holds that. I prefer it and am much happier now. I didn't need to do much for the night stuff as I had the Zacuto Marauder rig for that so was much steadier! USE A RIG! Always better to stabilise when shooting. FIx in post is never fun. On the eye I had no choice unfortunately. Music courtesy of The Music Bed. Holly Maher "Hiding Place" ProRes HQ version downloadable from the review post on my website: gopb.co/pocket Filmed on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. With the lovely actress Kate Loustau @kate_loustau Graded with Film Convert using Provia Stock. 10% off at gopb.co/filmconvert All shots on the London Eye filmed in "stealth mode" No rig and one lens. The SLR Magic 12mm F1.6 with a Schneider Optics Variable ND Shots at Waterlook Bridge shot with the Samyang/ Rokinon 35mm F1.4 and Metabones Speed Booster for MFT Nikon Mount. I used the Zacuto Marauder RIg to get fluid handheld motion. Much better! St Paul's Cathedral shot filmed with the Leica 90mm F2 on a tripod! A huge thanks to actress Kate Loustau who I asked if she wouldn't mind letting me film her for a few shots to test out the Pocket Camera for my review in exchange for dinner. If she had known she probably would have preferred to have gone hungry! The London Eye is ridiculously strict about what you use camera wise in the capsules. Multiple lenses, tripods, video camera are a big fat no. Had many a...disagreement in the past :) This was filmed for Part 2 of my Blackmagic Pocket Camera Review which is almost finished in edit. Part 1 is done but I can't export it due to major computer issues. I shall keep trying! Thanks again to Kate. You made this piece lovely.

Since Andrew got picked up by Adapt, we decided to film a park edit to put online while we film for his "Waterloo" section. Over the last couple months we filmed here and there at multiple parks in Texas. Expect to see plenty more from Andrew soon. Enjoy. www.anatoleya.co.uk https://twitter.com/Anatoleya Walking around London at night - for every step I took a photo - and turned the resulting image sequence into a video. This is the result. I started at Somerset House, walked along the Strand, across Waterloo bridge, along South Bank to Blackfriar's bridge to Tate Modern, across the Millenium bridge and finished at St Paul's Cathedral. I used an Olympus Pen E-PL1 camera. The first half I used a zuiko 14-42mm lens, and from Blackfriar's to St Paul's I used a Panasonic Lumix 20mm pancake lens.

In the past year the Austin scene has been thriving. So many bladers from other cities are starting to gather here and the level of blading has gone up because of it. In the past, every weekend it seemed like Mason and I had to scrap to find 1 or 2 other guys to blade with, now we usually all gather together Friday nights and enter the weekend ready to get shit done (even if we do drink too much the night before). When I started this video I wanted to focus on OUR scene for once as opposed to filming different bladers from different cities. We've still been traveling non-stop but it's nice to know you're gonna be filming with the cast week in and week out. The Austin scene is the best it's been in a while in my opinion and it's bc of the guys in this video. Kids like Andrew are rare these days. No crutch foot, skates fakie both ways, spins both ways (in and out of tricks), kills both park & street, no arm swing, he's both technical & drops hammers, and he's all around just a great kid. If you've been living under a rock and you "have never seen an edit" of his, time to wake up. I could sit here and explain to you a million different ways why Andrew is an absolute badass, or you can just watch this section. The Austin scene has been growing over the past year or so and that's why I chose to focus this video on my scene as opposed to traveling around Texas covering ppl from other cities (like I did with Dag Days). This is my extended family and I absolutely love these doods. Best scene, right now (right now). SONG: Fleetwood Mac - The Chain www.onpointblading.com www.facebook.com/WaterlooBladeVid

There are a limited number of copies and once they're gone, they're gone. I will not make any more.
