    This is a video about children's toys. Nakre Abia is explaining the toys and how they are made from a coconut leaf. The video was recorded by Christian Döhler on the 14th of September 2012 in Rouku village, Western Province, Papua New Guinea. Christian is currently carrying out research for his doctoral dissertation which focusses on the Kómnzo language.                     This is a video of a traditional yam counting ceremony in Rouku village, Western Province, Papua New Guinea. The languages of the region employ a senary (base-six) numeral system. The video was recorded by Christian Döhler on the 17th of October 2012. The two men doing the counting are Sékri Karémbu and Ronnie Marua. Christian is currently carrying out research for his doctoral dissertation which focusses on the Kómnzo language.
