NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- The most popular event of Westminster's Greek Week took center stage at Orr Auditorium on Saturday night as each fraternity and sorority performed under the spotlight. Theta Chi took top prize for the men's performances. Kappa Delta claimed the victory for the women. This year’s theme was "Decades." Each organization was assigned a year from each decade dating back to the 60s as they worked to bring in elements of nostalgia for alumni. Saturday's showcase came after intense rehearsals during Greek Week. Each group practices for two hours a night where a panel of judges declared Kappa Delta and Theta Chi Sing and Swing champions. “It’s always a surprise from Theta Chi,” Theta Chi president Nick Dalessio said. “One thing we try to do with Sing & Swing is have that entertainment factor." Student Affairs also revealed the winner of Penny Wars. Alpha Gamma Delta brought in the most cash helping the total of pennies collect to grow beyond $16,400.
