        The annual Drexel Fashion Show promotes the work of our Fashion Design students. The 2014 Drexel Fashion Show featured special collections by graduating seniors and graduate students, plus collections of swimwear, evening wear, lingerie and tailoring. Drexel's top-flight Fashion Design program is recognized as one of the top 10 fashion programs in the United States and one of the top 20 programs in the world. Our rigorous curriculum consists of a unique six-month co-op experience that complements coursework in conceptual design, presentation skills, CAD, and manufacturing methods. The curriculum covers all facets of fashion design, from men's, women's, and children's wear, to swimwear and couture. Students are prepared for careers in fashion design, styling, advertising, and computer-aided and technical design. Small studio classes simulating the professional environment represent the core of a student's education including final critiques by practicing designers.

Museum Leadership program director Dr. Danielle Rice brings a wealth of experience as a museum educator and former museum director. She has served as executive director of the Delaware Art Museum, associate director for programs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and head of education at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Conn., and the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rice has authored and produced interpretive exhibitions, interactive computer programs, kiosks and websites and random access audio tours. She holds a doctorate in the history of art from Yale University (1979) and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College (1973) and is the recipient of numerous awards.
