Short promo style section shot around Dublin in late 1998 & early 1999. Edited on some VHS tape to tape edit decks, linear style. I'd just got a miniDV camera, a Sony TRV 900 which could digitise analogue footage before capture via Premiere 4.1 or Final Cut 1.0. Still some time away before I got my hands on half decent editing equipment. We still weren't filming "seriously" back then, still a case of putting the camera in the bag and going skating, sometimes it got used, sometimes not. Al's bluntslide down the rail in Trinity was one of the craziest things I'd seen at the time, along with James Black's Creager-esque flip backside tailslide bigpsin.

A simple game of numbers that unites communities, supply's people with moments of glory or misfortune. To some folk, the game of Bingo is one of the most important aspects of the week. The light was first exhibited on 4th June 1815 and in foggy weather a bell was tolled every half minute. The tower was and still is painted white. Two serious mishaps occurred during the construction of the tower, one on the night of 18th October 1812 when 10 out of 24 workmen were swept off the rock and drowned during a violent storm. The second was on 22nd August 1814 when a stone cutter fell 72 feet (22m) to his death.

Went for a quick spin round the airfield in the passanger seat of my brother's microlight. We did one touch and go landing, and then came around again to put it on the ground. It was very turbulent on the final approach due to a wind coming across a stand of trees. Shot using a Pentax K-7 with a Pentax 14mm F2.8 lens in September 2009. Some nice views of the Wexford countryside at the end of a late harvest.
