Mette Bang is a client of the Whatcom Volunteer Center Chore Program. She is limited in her ability to move due to an autoimmune disease known as MS. Volunteers from the WVC have regularly visited Mette's home to help her take care of chores and other important maintenance work. Mette is a positive person who is full of life and wisdom. We are excited to be able to have the opportunity to help amazing people like her, as well as others in our community that is rich with volunteerism and love.

View towards Mount Shuksan from Huntoon Point as sunset unfolds. I started the time lapse about 1 hour before sunset and (thankfully) the battery lasted the entire time. Time lapse settings: GoPro Hero 3 Black, 7mp, 5s interval, ProTune on, 6500k White Balance. Towards the end, you'll notice the white balance flickers & changes. I need to contact GoPro's customer service to figure out why this is happening. I would hope that if you specify a white balance temperature that it would use it for all frames but apparently this isn't the case. Maybe I need to use CAM RAW?..

Hikers going up the Church Mountain trail pass through this alpine meadow at about 5000 feet elevation. The video is a little shaky because I did not bring the tripod. Starting with the view south to Mt Baker, goes around to the east, then north and west to the high ridges, then returns to Mt Baker. The summit of Church is to the west. Church Mountain is in the Mt Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest, a few miles south of the Canadian border, Washington State.
