what is street art? http://www.facebook.com/Mr.LoveBomB Love: is a wish for the other person to be truly happy. To wish them what 'they' want in life, not what you want for them in life. How many different ways can you show love to people you don't know? The more I think about love the more I see opportunities to show it. Kinda like when you want a particular car and then for some reason all you can see around driving is that car you wanted. It's just like that. Mind is creator of reality, in this case its my love for others. I have decided to show the world I love it, and all the people inside it

    • Art Installation Stop Motion Project

I tried a little stop motion project while at the MBW (Mr. Brainwash) street art installation this past October. Some parts came out pretty blurry while doing the stop motion, due to the fact I didnt want to step on any of the freshly pasted wheatpastes that where on the ground. So it became hard to take photos while trying to maneuver around without stepping on wet art. I considered not putting it together due to the fact that some parts of the video are blurry, but since the art will be destroyed at the beginning of 2012, I figured it should be showcased. Though MBW will be making a video about this show. Music by Kone http://soundcloud.com/thekone

Legendary photographer Martha Cooper has been documenting graffiti and graffiti writers since the late 1970s. Her and Henry Chalfant’s book “Subway Art”, originally published in 1984, was largely responsible for the globalization of graffiti. She has remained a fixture in the community and culture, and has been documenting the Wynwood Walls since the project began in 2009. Her photos tell the story of the Wynwood Walls from its inception to expansion, and all of the artists and their respective works. In graffiti and street art, nothing is permanent, even commissioned walls. Because of the temporary nature of the medium, Martha’s photos outlast almost every piece of graffiti or street art itself. A couple of weeks back a good friend, and amazing artist Wade Lewis asked me if I wanted to help him out with a project he had been working on. It was a youth based art project involving around ten kids of different ages. Each were given a point and shoot disposable camera and asked to shoot their 5 favourite things. They then all chose the best images and had them printed up on hundreds of black and white pages which would in turn be used to create the wall... I came along on the day and created this little stop motion of all the action as it unfolded... enjoy.
