    Your webinar host, Pamela Paterson, is a senior Society for Technical Communication (STC) member and an instructor at Humber Institute of Technology. Pamela has perfected the art of creating resumes that are picked up by HR systems and read by employers. In this workshop she will cover the top ten tips and a plethora of other information to make your resume work hard at getting you a job. The first hour of the Webinar covers the mechanics of better resume writing and the second hour will be left open for Q&A and general discussion. This webinar was brought to you by the Toronto, Ontario Community of the STC. This community was formed in 1959 and currently has almost 300 members. Our members include technical writers, editors, technical illustrators and technical communicators of all kinds. We promote clear, concise, and audience-focused technical communications. We provide technical communicators with opportunities for professional development on current tools, trends, and methodologies. We maintain a sense of community through networking opportunities and our job bank, sharing professional job opportunities with members. Baseline's reputation spans across all continents, with high profile contributors from the international creative industry. Among them Oscar winner Arnold Schwartzman, RDI OBE, Alan Fletcher RDI, Adrian Frutiger, Ken Garland, David Gentleman RDI, Ivan Chermayeff, David Carson, Neville Brody, Sir Terence Conran and best selling author Steven Heller. This exhibition offered an insight into the character and inner workings of Baseline magazine, also from the point of view of the students who were employed there. The exhibition showcased their contributions to the design of this internationally renowned magazine and hears from them personally how working at Baseline has influenced them as young, ambitious designer and boosted their career prospects.
