During the summer of 2013, I moved to Wedowee, Alabama where I served as the photographer and videographer for an organization called SIFAT. Servants in Faith and Technology is a wonderful non-profit which trains and educates locals, students, missionaries, and leaders in developing countries in sustainable techniques designed to help the impoverished rise above poverty. I edited and compiled this overview based on my time during the program. I hope you enjoy and may be enlightened to check out SIFAT to discover how you can take part today.

Hunger is a worldwide epidemic and is especially problematic in India, which is home to 40 percent of the world’s poor. Southern Baptists through the World Hunger Fund* are helping pastors in one part of India break out of the hunger cycle through a pig husbandry project sponsored by Baptist Global Response. *The World Hunger Fund is changing into a new initiative called Global Hunger Relief.
