    In 2010, two ballet dancers from The Royal Danish Ballet initiated the Danish Wounded Warrior Project with the support of The Royal Danish Ballet Foundation. After 4 1/2 years of voluntary work, rehabilitating wounded Soldiers within the Pilates system,The Danish Wounded Warriors project has now established an International Training and Knowledge Center and opened the doors to more victims of traumatic injuries, helping to improve their everyday quality of life. The Center is 100% funded by private sponsors such as Soldaterlegatet, Helsefonden, Bevica Fonden, Otto Sandgreen Fonden.

                Soldiers from the Fort Campbell Transition Batallion and others were hosted by the Music City Quail Forever chapter for a Pheasant Tower Shoot at CC Partridge Patch Hunting Preserve on a beautifal Saturday morning. It concluded with lunch before the soldiers left with their birds cleaned and on ice in coolers.

                      Since Operation Enduring Freedom kicked off in 2003, wounded warriors returning from war have a new life, a life without limbs or invisible such as Post traumatic stress disorder. As these wounded warriors embark on their new journey, cycling has become their life, often saving them from the darkness of death—suicide. On March 19, 2003, the United States invaded Iraq to disarm the country of weapons of mass destruction, and to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people. In the last 12 years, America’s service members have returned from war without limbs.
