Central Valley kicked off Northern Athletic League play with a victory over Yreka Friday night - but it was a costly win. The Falcons defeated the host Miners 27-6 but saw potential NAL MVP Colton Silveria suffer a broken tibia in his left leg during the game. He's likely out for at least the next three games. Also injured Friday were quarterback Brandon Piercy (upper right ankle sprain or strain) and Ben Dressel (mild concussion). Camera Operator/Editor: Ron Harrington. Still Photo Above: Rita Dressel
