Japan usually comes to mind when thinking about the search for perfect champagne powder turns. Maybe not so much urban jib features and slasher parks? The Flux Bindings team including Tyler Lynch, Scotty Vine, Erik Leon, Yuma Abe, Taka Nakamura, YuYa Akada, Yosuke Hayashi and Blake Axelson set out to get it all in one trip! The first stop was at the slash park at Happo Resort - a unique bowl and banked-turn filled park experience with a mixture of skate and surf flow that lends to originality and style. Next up, the team devoted all of their time in urban settings building out several different spots, riding hard and bagging tricks. Last stop was Cortina Resort where the crew had their chance to rip some waist-deep powder, the highlight of the experience and what Japan truly is all about. • "Synchronicity" Teaser by HYWOD

      02:21

      from HYWOD_KJ Added 14.7K 67 8

It has been a year since "GENTEN -The Orgin-" Each member of the Hywod Crew chose to procede down their own path. Keiji Okamoto killed in the backcountry in Hokkaido and Nagano. Yoh Tanaka used his might to shred the slopes. Kazushige Fujita went off in pursuit of natural terrain and the ultimate line. Yuki Kadono spread his wings as a representative of Japan. Even though the members seemed to go their own separate ways, it was merely their first step-not toward dissolution, but evolution to a brand new form. Exposing themselves to harsh conditions, they strengthened the power of the "self" and, in turn, the quality of their craft. This was not something they had shown to one another, but an answer they had all discovered for themselves. It was like a part of the natural flow, a coincidence that created something meaningful. Synchronicity is about to happen. PRODUCE: HYWOD DIRECTOR: YUGO RIDER: KAZUSHIGE FUJITA (HEAD) YOH TANAKA (BILLABONG) KEIJI OKAMOTO (VOLKL) TAKUMI HIRATA (FLOW) YUYA AKADA SHINYA MIZOBATA (HEAD) MAOTO YOKOTA (CAPITA) MANABU KOIKE (ROME) SHO SAKANISHI (NITRO) KOTARO KAMIMURA (FLOW) YUKI KADONO (RIDE) TATSUKI INAMURA (SALOMON) Web site: http://hywod.net/
