Tanya is a Maori Visual Artist working with video & sound installations, photo, film, light boxes, paint, drawing materials, found sound & found objects. She is inspired by Maori mythologies & cosmologies. She holds a Diploma in Visual Arts, a Bachelor of Visual Art from Auckland University, Post Grad Diploma in Art & Design from AUT University & has completed a Master of Art & Design, Honours at AUT University in Auckland New Zealand. Tanya's video installations have shown at various Art & Film festivals around the World including opening the 5th International Indigenous Film Festival in Kathmandu Nepal. She is currently applying as a Phd Fine Art doctoral candidate in New Zealand.
