Michael, born in Augsburg (Germany) grew up in Waldeck Dinkelsbühl (Middle Franconia, Mittelfranken). It was a small village close to the forest.
1974: Moved to Bad Woerishofen (Allgäu)
1979: studied philosophy, politics, DaF (German as a Foreign Language) at the LMU - University in Munich.
1991: Sapporo, Hokkaido University as a foreign lecturer for German and German culture.
1997: Tsukuba, Tsukuba University as a foreign lecturer for German and German culture.
Michael has been living in Bali for nine years. Director of PT. Laut Indah.
In 1987 he learned diving with Monika Michl in Munich.
The first open water dives happened in Lake Starnberg near Munich.

Interests: mountains, sea, photography, video, travel, writing, reading, billiards, rock climbing
Life style: Vegetarian. I do not eat my friends.
Favorite animals: turtles, dolphins, sunfish, butterflies, cows, humming birds
Motto about learning diving: There are no champions who fell from the sky directly into the water.
