Thomas Daish is a young composer from the New Forest. He graduated with a Bmus Hons from the University of Surrey, where he studied under Professor Stephen Goss & Dr. Thomas Armstrong. His compositions have premiered at Guildford Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, London's Steinway Hall and London's National Portrait Gallery. His works have featured on several tourism websites and online audio streams and have been the subject of adjudication and masterclasses by Stephen Layton, Sir David Wilcox and Mark-Anthony Turnage. Thomas recently finished writing a cello concerto for Philip Handy and completed studies for a postgraduate degree in Music at both the University of Surrey and the Janacek Academy in Brno, Czech Republic, under the direction of Martin Smolka and Omar Rojas.
