Michelle Chamuel (founder, Thick Glasses Music) has been making music since the age of 4. Originally from Massachusetts, Michelle moved to Ann Arbor to study Performing Arts Technology at the University of Michigan School of Music. She received her degree in 2008, while also touring as the lead singer for Ella Riot (formerly My Dear Disco).

Michelle’s sound has been likened to “the cutting vocals of Robyn paired with the emotions of Adele” (source) and hailed as “one of the best pop vocalists” by Jim Fleming, founder of Fleming Artists. She has performed over 300 shows – including Lollapalooza 2010, Rock Boat XII, Summercamp, and NAMU New Music Festival – written hundreds of compositions, and has music featured on the networks of CW, ABC, and SOAPnet. And came in 2nd place on season 4 of NBC's The Voice on Team Usher.
