Toby Tatum's films have been exhibited at numerous film festivals and arts events worldwide including Rotterdam International Film Festival, London Short Film Festival, Berwick Upon Tweed Film & Media Arts Festival, Swedenborg International Film Festival, Stuttgarter Filmwinter, Alchemy Film & Moving Image Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
In 2012 Toby Tatum was commissioned to produce a film with cellist Bela Emerson for Art in Romney Marsh 2012. The resulting film, entitled The Secret Places of a Hidden God, screened at St Clement's Church, Old Romney, in September and October 2012.
Toby Tatum curated and contributed to Underground Worlds (2011) and Paradise Found (2013, with Mark French), two programmes of film and video work which screened at The Electric Palace Cinema in Hastings, UK.
