Tommaso Spinelli is a graduate from the National Film School - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, Italy. He has appeared in several films and shorts, including East River, with Oscar nominee Lupita Nyong'o. He has worked amongst others with Belgian artist Jan Fabre (The Holy Gangster), the Lithuanian director Eimuntas Nekrošius (Letters to Lucilius), German director and co-founder of the Berliner Ensemble Matthias Langhoff (Working for Paradise). He has worked at the Biennale Teatro in Venice. In 2012 he directed his first documentary "A Quiet Strength" with Bobbie Baird, Hannah Caggiano and Deborah Hammond. He is based in NYC.
