Born in the Marche Region of Italy, and raised in Milan, Francesco is a photographer whose style was born from a deep and passionate understanding of food.
A former professional chef, restaurateur and teacher, Francesco worked in kitchens across Europe and served as a professor of culinary arts at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, before picking up a camera to explore the art of digital image capture.
At the height of his culinary profession, Francesco served as a prominent R & D chef and food stylist for La Cucina Italiana in Milan, developing and styling hundreds of dishes for the magazine over an eight-year period.
The length and breadth of his culinary career now guides his photographic work with intuition and skill born from years of experience. Returning to the world of food and hospitality with a trained eye and camera in hand, Francesco captures the most alluring aspects of his subject to draw the viewer in using a graphic, and visual invitation.
His comfort with food, the process and people who create food, has endeared him to renowned chefs, creatives and food marketing professionals alike.
