Trevor Zhou is a filmmaker, writer, actor and artist living in Brooklyn, New York. Trevor started out in the fine arts with work that revolved around conceptual projects that utilized a multitude of mediums including electronics, sculpture, ceramics, paint and installation. He then transitioned into acting, performing in a number of independent films and appearing in national and regional commercials. He played the lead in his first play The Sweet Cheat, a unique, site-specific, guerilla theater piece that was covered by the New York Times, Village Voice and other news media. His first television role was in Law & Order: SVU and he can also be seen in the Spike Lee production The Girl is in Trouble as well as 20th Century Fox's recent film The Sitter with Jonah Hill. This year, Trevor wrote, directed and produced his first film The Problem of Gravity which has been accepted to the Brooklyn Film Festival and the Korean American Film Festival New York. He is currently creating a new film about surveillance, love, murder and fish in addition to a web series about beer-league hockey.
