Udo Spreitzenbarth is an international fashion and art photographer. He was born in Germany but has lived in New York City for the past 15 years. Growing up, he was greatly influenced by his older brother’s creative and artistic nature. While studying architecture in college, Udo began modeling on the side. It was then, where he realized his place was behind the camera.
After being in New York City for only one year, he shot his first billboard on Times Square and his career took off after that. Some of his advertising clients have been: DKNY Jeans, Maybelline, Fubu, Avirex, Mavi, and many others. His editorial work has been featured in: Vogue, Harper’s Baazar, Elle, and Marie Claire, just to name a few.
Later, he ventured into art photography and has since gained high acclaim. His gamble has resulted in a successful series of solo exhibitions in Berlin, Frankfurt, Shanghai, and Beijing. His success has earned him the honor of being on the cover of the prestigious “Photographie” magazine.
Udo currently resides in the art district of Chelsea with his lovely wife and their dachshund, Princess.
