Through Sackville NB, Kingston, Toronto and Halifax, on banjos mandolins and guitars, Liam Finney has tailored a comforting sound that portrays a deep and honest love for the power of story and song. Having moved on from other projects, he has taken time away to record and perform songs that evoke memories of times few remain left to recount. His forthcoming record, The Floorboards EP, was recorded at the home of David Trenaman and Colleen Collins of Construction and Destruction. Mixed and mastered by Eric LeClerc (Wintersleep, Ryan MacGrath, Andrew Hunter, Nick Everett, Breagh Potter, Becky Siamon) the album is due for release throughout the maritimes in March of this year. Expect old sounds of warm nights, cold hearts, and the dim-lit meeting place of sorrow and comfort.
