Al Fadhil was born in Iraq at 1954. At 1977 he graduated at the Institute of Fine Art in Baghdad. He began his art practice in the early 1980s, after the study at the Academy of Fine Art in Florence (Italy). His work is characterized by the use of diverse media and openly moves between the production of painting, objects, photographs, videos and performance. Al Fadhil has participated in individual and group exhibitions in internationally events. He currently residence in Lugano Switzerland and Berlin Germany.
